For my first purchase, I chose Real Rosy, Red Radiance, and Berry Bliss. The first thing I noticed was the highly pigmented, beautiful colors in these satiny shades. I hoped they'd be as creamy on my lips as they looked in the tubes, and wow, they delivered! No caking or drying here.
These gorgeous creams have high coverage and slide on like fine silk charmeuse, blurring my lip lines. That’s always a huge plus in my book. (Now, if only I could find something to make the lip lines around my mouth disappear!)
All three shades of Modern Classic Cream Lipstick stayed on for hours and were easily removed in the evening with micellar water or cleansing oil.
My Experience with Modern Classic Cream Lipstick
Modern Classic Cream Lipstick is on sale right now, so I’m going back for two more. I have plenty of nude neutrals, so I think I’ll add Pink Passion and Mauve Majesty to my collection.
I love how they are paired with matching lip liners on the website. I’ve never liked the look of two-toned lips. I know it’s popular right now, and you do you, but it’s just not my thing. Besides, I can never figure out which color liner to wear with which color lipstick.
I absolutely, unequivocally love Modern Classic Cream Lipstick and can’t wait to add more to my collection. This formula is a must for dry, mature lips. Now I’m ready to try other products from their line. Maybe a few waterproof matching lip liners? 💋

Luxurious and lightweight, this cream lipstick delivers color and moisture in a single stroke. The super-soft texture, infused with synthetic beeswax and Vitamin E, melts onto your mouth and does not seep into lip lines. White Orchid Extract hydrates and soothes to help lips stay smooth, supple, and youthful.
One of my pet peeves with many lipsticks is the naming conventions that don’t describe the color. At my age, I have to remove the cap on each one until I find the shade I’m looking for. Laura Geller's Modern Classic Cream Lipstick, however, has slightly larger print on the bottom of the tube, making it easier to read. Not perfect, but definitely better than most brands.
Another thoughtful feature is the caps that snap back on securely. I might have missed it on the website, but I’m almost positive there are magnets in there. As someone who’s had the inside of purses ruined many times, I especially appreciate this ingenuity.
How I Apply
Applying this lipstick is as easy as any other. I like to start in the middle, at the bow. I do not go all the way to the corners because it just emphasizes how my lips are turning downward. I blend with a lip brush with this brand. As I mentioned earlier, they are highly pigmented, or I’d just use my fingers to blend.
